The Financial Manager focused on Technology Infrastructure at Pinterest will oversee financial and strategic management of significant investments in technology infrastructure, particularly AWS. This role is crucial for executing Pinterest's technology and innovation strategy. The manager will work closely with technology infrastructure leadership to govern investments and manage vendor relationships. The position emphasizes the integration of AI tools in financial processes to enhance decision-making and forecasting.

• Experience with forecasting expenses, particularly in managing technology infrastructure spending on public cloud platforms.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance financial analysis and forecasting workflows.
• Experience in managing multiple work-streams end-to-end across various functions and teams.
• Expertise in building high-level and detailed financial models.
• Strong business partnership skills along with verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Accounting or Finance and a minimum of 5 years of Finance or Business Operational experience.

• Partner with Engineering, Infrastructure, and Technical Program Management teams to develop operational investments and financial forecasts.
• Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual variance analysis.
• Identify and drive initiatives to improve, automate, and grow OPEX and infrastructure forecasting tools and processes.
• Champion an AI-First approach to Technology finance partnership by embedding AI tools into forecasting and metrics analysis.
• Design usage prediction models for resource capacity needs.
• Proactively identify risks and opportunities.
• Perform strategic, time-sensitive analysis and communicate key takeaways.
