Job description
The role is for an enthusiastic engineer in the Camera Hardware Engineering group at Apple, focusing on the design and development of innovative camera systems across various products. The team is dedicated to delivering cutting-edge camera electronics and custom silicon that enhance imaging experiences. The engineer will collaborate with experts in optics, controls, mechanics, and imaging to develop custom silicon ICs for computational photography. Requirements
- BS degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
- A minimum of 3 years of industry experience.
- Experience in analog/mixed-signal IC development, low-power, low-noise sensing, and signal processing.
- Experience with board-level design constraints, power assessment, and analysis.
- Experience with embedded systems and MCU-based custom silicon designs.
- MS or PhD degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with experts across various disciplines to architect and develop custom silicon ICs.
- Drive complex projects to completion while performing root-cause analysis and problem-solving.
- Optimize designs across multiple disciplines, including hardware/firmware partitioning and design verification.
- Work independently to design and deliver complex systems from architecture through high-volume production ramp.
