The role is focused on designing and developing innovative camera hardware for Apple products within the Camera Technologies group. The team aims to create extraordinary hardware that enhances the user experience for millions of customers. Candidates will work collaboratively across various teams to research, design, develop, test, and qualify camera systems. This position requires a passion for tackling challenges in camera technology and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- Experience in analog and/or digital circuit design including schematics capture.
- Knowledge of signal and power integrity, including high-speed design and PDN analysis.
- Experience with high-speed interfaces such as MIPI, DisplayPort, HDMI, and PCIE.
- Hands-on lab experience with hardware bring-up and debugging.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop groundbreaking ideas for camera systems from sensor to lens.
- Collaborate with teams across Apple to research and qualify camera hardware.
- Ensure system integration knowledge for grounding, shielding, EMI, EMC, and ESD.
- Contribute to the design of high volume consumer electronics focusing on manufacturing and reliability.
- Utilize statistical data analysis and visualization techniques.
