Job description
Apple is seeking a talented engineer to join the Sensing Product Design Architecture team, focusing on the mechanical design and performance of sensing modules. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience.
- Deep understanding of advanced mechanical engineering principles including solid mechanics, materials science, and heat transfer.
- Proven experience with data-driven design using statistical analysis and tolerance analysis.
- Expert proficiency in 3D CAD software such as Siemens NX, SolidWorks, or Creo.
- Demonstrated mastery in advanced computational mechanics, including Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
- Expertise in analytical programming languages such as Python or Matlab.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural mechanical analysis and performance modeling of advanced sensing modules.
- Focus on robustness across diverse operating conditions and manufacturing variations.
