Job description
The role is focused on designing and developing innovative camera hardware for Apple products within the Camera Technologies group. This team aims to deliver extraordinary hardware that enhances the photography experience for users. The position requires collaboration with various teams to research, develop, test, and qualify camera systems. The ideal candidate will tackle challenges in camera technology and contribute to the evolution of Apple's camera capabilities.
Requirements
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or related field with at least 3 years of relevant industry experience.
- Masters of Science or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or related field with 10 years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience in analog and/or digital circuit design including schematics capture and/or supervising layout for substrate, rigid PCB, or Flex.
- Knowledge of layout strategies for substrates, rigid PCB, Flex, or rigid-flex including understanding of material selection and noise suppression.
- Experience with high-speed interfaces such as MIPI, DisplayPort, HDMI, PCIE, and circuits like LDO, Buck, ADC, DAC, Op-AMP.
- Hands-on lab experience with hardware bring-up and debug.
- Experience with high volume consumer electronics design for manufacturing, testing, and reliability.
- Knowledge of CMOS image sensor, ISP, or image processing.
- Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills.
