The Technical Account Manager (TAM) role at AWS Enterprise Support focuses on providing strategic technical guidance to customers across various industries. This position is not sales-oriented but serves as the principal technical advisor, helping organizations adopt and optimize AWS services. The TAM will work closely with engineers and service teams to resolve issues and proactively drive customer success. This role requires strong technical acumen and customer-facing skills to effectively represent AWS within customer environments.

• 3+ years of technical engineering experience
• Experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting for three of the following: compute, storage, networking, CDN, databases, DevOps, big data and analytics, security, or applications development in a distributed systems environment
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings
• Experience in internal enterprise or external customer-facing environment as a technical lead

• Provide advocacy and strategic technical guidance to help plan and build solutions using best practices.
• Work proactively to help craft and execute strategies to drive customers' adoption and use of AWS services.
• Drive discussions with senior leadership regarding incidents, trade-offs, support, and risk management.
• Develop close relationships with customers to understand their business needs and technical challenges.
• Ensure customers' AWS environments remain operationally healthy and resilient.
