Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 4 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation
- 4 years of experience defining, recommending, and implementing component level reworks within major PCBs in consumer electronics products
- 4 years of experience developing layout strategies for PCB, Rigid PCB, Flex, and Rigid-Flex including material selection and stack-up planning
- 4 years of experience utilizing subject matter expert knowledge of SMT process including BGA and fine pitch soldering rework process
- 4 years of experience designing for EMI minimization, signal integrity, and noise suppression
- 4 years of experience designing for manufacturing/DFM and designing for reliability
- 4 years of experience utilizing supporting system level troubleshooting and debugging from chip level to system level
- 4 years of experience tracking issues, reporting trends, and identifying quality issues and developing corrective actions
Responsibilities
- Manage engineering builds by partnering with and driving communications among cross-functional teams.
- Define, recommend, and implement component level reworks in partnership with internal engineering teams.
- Develop and implement automated PCBA and system level processes to increase yields and throughput.
- Support system and board level debug, reworking, assembly, and reworks on prototype hardware.
- Track, report, and identify quality issues and/or failure trends.
- Work closely with technicians and engineers to ensure the prompt and accurate completion of work.
