Job description
Apple is seeking a senior level design engineer to lead technical engagements with silicon and IP suppliers on innovative technologies. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 20 years of relevant experience in silicon development.
- Proven experience in integrated circuit design and design automation tools.
- Hands-on experience with front end and back end digital tool suites.
- Deep knowledge of EDA tools and approaches for managing design complexity.
Responsibilities
- Drive and lead technical engagements between Apple and silicon and IP suppliers.
- Oversee all phases of silicon development including micro-architecture specification.
- Manage pre-silicon activities such as simulation, emulation, and verification.
- Lead post-silicon activities including bring-up, validation, characterization, and qualification.
- Direct multi-functional debug efforts and manage crisis situations.
