This role involves building hyper-scale data applications focused on security engineering within Amazon's Defensive Security team. The team is responsible for developing mission-critical data processing pipelines that handle petabyte-scale data in real time. • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards and operations
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C#

• Design and review architecture for software systems
• Develop software features in Java and Python using AWS services
• Set and achieve high standards for operational excellence
• Build partnerships with technical internal stakeholders worldwide
• Conduct system resilience testing and preparation
• Plan software projects using Agile methodologies
