• Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical and Computer Engineering or related field.
• Experience using SystemVerilog for constrained random test development.
• Experience using C for reference model and checker development.
• Experience utilizing Perl, Python, or shell scripting for regression automation.
• Knowledge of Digital Electronics concepts to understand the design under test.
• Experience utilizing simulators and waveform viewers, including VCS or Verdi, for running and debugging simulations.
• Knowledge of CPU architecture for verifying CPU based designs.
• Experience using Verilog RTL design constructs for debugging designs.
• Experience using MATLAB to create models used in verification.

• Review design specifications and test plans with verification and cross-functional teams.
• Generate coverage databases and collaborate with the design team to close coverage gaps.
• Develop regression scripts and run regressions on Apple's regression infrastructure.
• File tickets to track RTL bugs and provide designers with the waveform of the bug and reproduction command.
• Develop test bench environments and conduct directed and random/constrained tests to verify design features.
• Develop functional coverage metrics to meet verification goals.
• Create reusable and scalable testbenches for integration into higher level environments.
• Plan and develop checkers to identify design bugs.
