As an SRAM Circuit Designer in the Digital Custom Group, you will be part of a world-class silicon design team responsible for creating innovative solutions for Apple's flagship products. This role focuses on designing and implementing custom digital circuits for SRAM, collaborating with a talented team to optimize architecture and performance. You will play a critical role in delivering high-performance chips like the M1 and A14 Bionic, influencing CPU, GPU, and SoC designs. Your work will directly impact the speed and efficiency of product development, enabling groundbreaking customer experiences.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience within a SoC design cycle.
• Knowledge of Cache design and memory hierarchy is a huge plus.
• Working knowledge of RTL modeling.
• Solid understanding of industry-standard design tools.
• Deep understanding of nanometer device physics and leakage mechanisms.
• Ability to devise experiments and analyze data for silicon debug.
• Familiarity with Machine Learning algorithms and scripting is a big plus.

• Design and implement custom digital circuits for SRAM design.
• Collaborate with the logic and architecture team to formulate design specifications.
• Define architecture and topologies optimizing for power, timing, area, and yield.
• Conduct schematic capture, simulations, analysis, and margin verifications.
• Perform functional equivalency and DFT modeling.
• Work with the layout team to create optimal GDS.
• Verify that extracted GDS meets design specifications.
• Conduct backend verification, including IR and EM analysis.
• Write RTL, validate use-cases, and verify against design schematics.
• Support post-silicon efforts to enable productization.
