As an SRAM Circuit Designer for the Digital Custom Group, you will be part of a world-class silicon design team responsible for creating innovative solutions for Apple's flagship products. This role focuses on designing and implementing custom digital circuits for SRAM, working closely with a talented logic and architecture team. You will play a critical role in optimizing designs for power, timing, area, and yield, while also collaborating with layout teams to ensure specifications are met. Your contributions will directly impact the development of high-performance chips like the M1 and A14 Bionic.

• BS degree and a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience.
• Experience within a SoC design cycle, developing circuits and SRAM/Register File for low power, low voltage, and high performance.
• Knowledge of Cache design/architecture and memory hierarchy.
• Working knowledge of RTL modeling.
• Solid understanding of industry-standard design tools.
• Deep understanding of nanometer device physics, leakage mechanisms, and technology interactions with device behavior.
• Ability to devise experiments and analyze data for silicon debug.
• Familiarity with Machine Learning algorithms and scripting.

• Design and implement custom digital circuits for SRAM design.
• Work with an extraordinary logic/architecture team to formulate design specifications.
• Define architecture/topologies optimizing for power, timing, area, and yield.
• Conduct schematic capture, simulations/analysis, and margin verifications.
• Perform functional equivalency and DFT modeling.
• Collaborate with the layout team to create optimal GDS.
• Verify extracted GDS meets design specifications.
• Conduct backend verification, including IR/EM.
• Write RTL, validate use-cases, and verify against design schematics.
• Support post-silicon efforts to enable productization.
