The Software Development Engineer will join the Platform Engineering and Emerging Technologies (PEET) team to support the development of AWS Secret Cloud for Industry. This role focuses on designing, building, deploying, and monitoring features to enhance user experience for customers. The position involves working with innovative cloud computing technologies to solve complex technical problems for U.S. Government agencies. Candidates must be adaptable and willing to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards and operations.

• Design, build, deploy, and monitor components of the AWS Secret Cloud for Industry service.
• Participate in on-call responsibilities, typically for one week in every six.
• Work collaboratively to resolve root causes of issues to prevent recurrence.
