This role is for a high-impact engineer in Nashville, focused on designing world-class fulfillment centers and logistics systems. The engineer will collaborate with internal and external teams to create cost-effective solutions while managing multiple projects from concept to design approval. The position involves working with advanced automated material handling equipment and ensuring successful installation and commissioning of designed systems. The team operates in a fast-paced environment, tackling a variety of projects across North America and Europe.

• Experience in management of engineering design projects
• 3+ years of experience in Design/Innovation, research & development, manufacturing, process, industrial engineering, or a related field
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or foreign equivalent, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field
• Master's degree in Engineering or foreign equivalent, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field
• Knowledge of system architecture, optimization, system dynamics, system analysis, statistical analysis, reliability analysis, and decision making
• Experience with complex automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, and high-speed manufacturing
• Experience with design-in-safety
• Experience with process design based on Lean Principles

• Collaborate with internal and external teams to design high quality, cost effective solutions for fulfillment and distribution systems
• Own multiple projects simultaneously, from concept realization through design approval
• Serve as the primary technical contact for suppliers on projects
• Hand-off completed designs to the Ops Engineering team for installation and commissioning
• Support the Ops Engineering team to ensure successful installation, commissioning, and launch of designed systems
• Work on a variety of projects including green-fields, brown-fields, and retrofits
