The role is for a back-end engineer focused on developing a new interactive machine learning application at Amazon. The team aims to create integrated development experiences for data professionals, leveraging AWS technologies. Engineers will influence product strategy, define features, and ensure high-quality software delivery. Collaboration with UX designers, product managers, and other engineers is essential to build impactful products.

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
• 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team
• 5+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

• Work closely with UX designers and product managers to develop friendly UI experiences.
• Architect and develop the best technical design in collaboration with other engineers.
• Develop and maintain operational rigor for the frontend of a new AWS service.
• Own and deliver key features within a new interactive ML application.
• Collaborate with other AWS software development engineers for features that cut across AWS.
• Engage with customers and other AWS partners.
