The role involves supporting the Amazon Dedicated Cloud Facility Operations Center, which is responsible for 24/7 monitoring of data center infrastructure. The ideal candidate will assist onsite operations teams to ensure optimal customer experience through reliability and attention to detail. This position requires a basic understanding of data center infrastructure and strong communication skills. The Facility Operations Center plays a critical role in maintaining safety and operational excellence across AWS data centers.

• The candidate must be a US Citizen with an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience is required.
• Experience troubleshooting and documenting findings or in technical support is necessary.
• At least 1 year of experience in a customer-facing IT role or physical security systems/infrastructure is needed.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and applications for at least 2 years is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of customer service experience is necessary.

• Respond to, acknowledge, investigate, and dispatch critical alarms.
• Monitor the facility infrastructure platforms to ensure reliability.
• Perform change management tasks as required.
• Create and issue tickets for operational issues.
• Follow verbal and written directions from senior staff.
• Maintain an intermediate understanding of critical data center infrastructure.
