This role is part of the AWS Applied AI Solutions organization, focusing on building Chorus, a real-time document workspace that integrates AI agents as collaborators. The team aims to deliver intuitive technology solutions that address business challenges for millions of companies. Candidates will be involved in both coding and operational excellence, ensuring high-quality software delivery.

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience

• Own the design and delivery of significant components of a service scaling from early customers to broad AWS adoption.
• Contribute to technical discussions with partner teams by bringing data and documenting tradeoffs.
• Recognize when a one-off solution is appropriate versus when a pattern is emerging that deserves a real abstraction.
• Raise the bar through thorough code reviews and help onboard newer engineers to the codebase and team practices.
• Contribute to operational excellence by adding monitoring and alarming for the features built.
