This role involves designing, developing, and implementing innovative cloud computing solutions for US government agencies. The team focuses on expanding AWS Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) services while solving complex technical problems. Candidates will work alongside talented engineers and be responsible for improving tools, processes, and documentation. A strong emphasis is placed on Agile and DevOps methodologies to enhance system operations.

• Active TS/SCI security clearance is required.
• Associate's degree, or CND or GSEC certification is preferred.
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Ruby is necessary.
• Knowledge of and proficiency in the use of Python scripting language is required.
• Experience with automation tools for building, testing, releasing, or monitoring is essential.
• Experience on highly concurrent, high throughput systems and knowledge of complex distributed systems is needed.

• Identify ways to improve customer experiences through enhancements to tools, processes, and documentation.
• Collaborate with systems developers and engineers across AWS regions.
• Learn site reliability engineering fundamentals to recognize and eliminate manual, repetitive work.
• Deep dive into customer issues to determine root causes and investigate performance metrics.
