The Manufacturing Scientist / Engineer role at Elanco is part of the Tech Services Manufacturing Sciences (TSMS) team, focusing on supporting commercial animal health manufacturing. This position involves providing technical and analytical support to manufacturing processes while ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards. The role emphasizes continuous improvement initiatives and offers hands-on exposure to pharmaceutical manufacturing science and technology. Candidates will work collaboratively with various teams to achieve TSMS objectives.

• Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biophysical Chemistry, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related scientific field.
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant laboratory, manufacturing, or internship experience.
• Strong analytical/problem-solving skills and effective written and verbal communication.

• Provide technical support for manufacturing operations, including process troubleshooting, investigations, and deviation support.
• Support analytical testing, in-process controls, or final product release activities.
• Develop and implement process improvements using data analysis and statistical monitoring.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation such as reports, change controls, protocols, deviations, and regulatory support materials.
• Partner cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and development teams to deliver TSMS objectives.
