As a Software Engineer on the Cloud Observability Analytics team at Google, you will focus on building and supporting backend infrastructure that enhances product intelligence. Your work will involve designing and developing integration pipelines to improve the actionability of trace and error log data for developers and AI agents. This role requires collaboration with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) to ensure reliability and compliance of tools and products. You will have the opportunity to work on critical projects that impact Google's cloud services.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
• 2 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, or networks.
• Experience with distributed processing and large-scale data processing.

• Write product or system development code.
• Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders.
• Triage product or system issues and debug by analyzing the sources of issues.
• Develop new features for the OA Integrations pipelines, Cloud Trace, and Cloud Error Reporting products.
• Collaborate with SRE to ensure reliability and participate in the team's 24x7 production on-call rotation.
