The Software Engineer for GDC AI Applications and Agents at Google will focus on developing user-facing AI applications and enhancing the AI developer experience on Google Distributed Cloud (GDC). This role involves working on critical projects that leverage generative AI and machine learning technologies. The team aims to establish GDC as a leading platform for Agentic AI, delivering fully managed applications and a robust Agent Platform. Engineers will collaborate closely with product management and UX designers to ensure seamless integration of AI solutions.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
• Experience building and deploying generative AI agents.
• Experience with machine learning, AI, and platform development.

• Design, develop, and test features for user-facing AI applications built on GDC.
• Implement components and services for the GDC Agent Platform to enable efficient creation, deployment, and management of Agentic AI applications.
• Contribute to improving the AI Developer Experience on GDC by enhancing tools and producing clear documentation.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management, UX designers, and other engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of AI solutions.
