• Drive component selection and custom development for LEDs, photodiode arrays, and optical filters.
• Collaborate with Electrical Engineering and Product Design teams on schematic reviews and mechanical packaging.
• Lead benchtop bring-up, optical characterization, and dynamic range extension validation.
• Define and implement factory test requirements and optical calibration methodologies.
• Lead root-cause failure analysis during development builds and drive corrective actions for yield regressions.
