Job description
The Technical Program Management Intern at Rivian will support the Validation PMO by enhancing governance, quality, fleet, and validation tools. This internship is designed for undergraduate or graduate students, focusing on process and tool improvement initiatives that drive efficiency and visibility in validation programs. The intern will work full-time from January to August 2027, collaborating with engineering and cross-functional teams to implement improvements. Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited program.
- Majoring in engineering, computer science, business, operations, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Analytical mindset with experience using spreadsheets, dashboards, or data visualization tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated interest in automotive technology, product development, validation, quality, operations, or technical program management.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Validation PMO to understand current workflows and recommend improvements.
- Own an end-to-end process or tool improvement initiative, including defining requirements and tracking implementation.
- Support validation program governance by preparing status updates and maintaining action-item tracking.
- Analyze validation, quality, fleet, or tool data to identify trends and translate findings into recommendations.
- Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to implement improvements and document processes.
