As a Technical Consultant at Esri, you will act as a trusted advisor to strategic customers, helping them design and optimize enterprise geospatial systems. This role involves working at the intersection of GIS, enterprise IT, and emerging technologies like AI-enabled workflows. You will partner with customers to understand their business objectives and deliver hands-on technical enablement across the ArcGIS platform. The position is part of the Professional Services division, which focuses on delivering transformational solutions to high-profile clients worldwide.

• 5+ years of professional experience in GIS technical support, system administration, technical consulting, or a related customer-facing technical role.
• 3+ years of professional experience with ArcGIS Enterprise architecture, configuration, administration, and enterprise GIS best practices.
• Proven experience working with enterprise geodatabases, data management workflows, and database administration concepts.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and evaluate technical solutions.
• Strong communication and consulting skills with the ability to influence technical direction.
• Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly, including cloud and AI-enabled capabilities.
• Experience supporting enterprise-level customers and understanding enterprise IT architectures.
• U.S. Citizenship.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Engineering, Information Technology, or a related STEM field.

• Help evaluate, pilot, and operationalize emerging technologies including AI-enabled workflows and cloud-native GIS.
• Provide onsite, hands-on solution enablement across a broad range of Esri technologies.
• Operate as an extension of a customer’s GIS team to accelerate progress and reduce friction.
• Drive organizational alignment and adoption of innovative ArcGIS capabilities.
• Engage directly with strategic customer’s GIS teams to understand requirements and support implementation.
• Act as a technical liaison and facilitate coordination with the established Esri Program Team.
• Support a wide range of ArcGIS capabilities including configuration and integration for business teams.
• Maintain continuous awareness of a customer’s priorities and system patterns.
