Job description
The Technical Program Manager for Datacenter Portfolio and Strategy Management in the AMERS region oversees the entire datacenter program lifecycle, ensuring a cohesive view of the regional portfolio. This role involves managing milestones, risks, and dependencies while collaborating with various teams to drive project success. The manager will focus on automating processes and improving reporting mechanisms to enhance operational efficiency. This position requires strong technical acumen and the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple disciplines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Construction Management, Data Analytics/Science.
- 2+ years of experience in engineering, planning, product/technical program management, execution, or data analysis.
- 1+ year of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects related to architecture, engineering, or construction management.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.
Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities and gaps across multiple features and services in the datacenter portfolio.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to implement integrated solutions and processes.
- Define success criteria and performance metrics for portfolio programs.
- Develop and run portfolio rhythms of business and status reporting.
- Partner with stakeholders to implement automated systems and workflows.
- Manage cross-functional initiatives focusing on organizational efficiencies.
- Leverage technical acumen to facilitate engineering problem solving.
- Drive business results through a focus on key performance indicators.
- Deliver on ambiguous projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Differentiate Microsoft data center delivery to create a competitive advantage.
- Design and implement reporting by interfacing with various teams.
- Use experience to improve and deploy templates and processes.
- Drive enablement for partner teams utilizing process improvements.
