Job description
The role is focused on leading complex technical and operational programs that support cloud capacity planning within Microsoft's Cloud Supply Chain organization. The team aims to empower customers by delivering Cloud and AI capabilities at scale while managing the supply chain functions for datacenter assets worldwide. The position requires collaboration with Azure Engineering Groups, Finance, and other stakeholders to enhance organizational effectiveness and improve performance across Cloud Compute operations. The ideal candidate will analyze data to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex technical and operational programs supporting cloud capacity planning.
- Act as the main liaison with Azure Engineering Groups, Finance, and Cloud Supply Chain for cross-functional initiatives.
- Analyze financial and organizational data to identify trends, risks, dependencies, and opportunities.
- Initiate corrective actions to improve performance across Cloud Compute operations.
- Establish, implement, and continuously refine scalable processes and governance mechanisms.
- Anticipate business challenges based on the technical engineering roadmap.
- Oversee complex projects from planning through execution, managing milestones, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.
