The Roadway Engineer position at Jacobs focuses on developing innovative roadway solutions for transportation infrastructure projects. The role is part of a growing Transportation team that aims to connect communities and improve mobility through impactful infrastructure projects. Engineers will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to deliver high-quality outcomes while mentoring junior staff. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of transportation projects, including highways and urban corridors.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Washington State Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain comity within 6 months from another state.
• Experience delivering highway, roadway, or transportation design projects.
• Proficiency with roadway design software such as OpenRoads Designer, MicroStation, or Civil 3D.

• Develop highway and roadway designs for transportation infrastructure projects.
• Prepare plans, specifications, quantities, cost estimates, and technical documentation.
• Apply AASHTO, DOT, and local design standards to develop practical engineering solutions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to deliver high-quality project outcomes.
• Participate in quality reviews and support project delivery throughout all phases of design.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to Jacobs' culture of technical excellence and innovation.
