Jacobs is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern (Roadway) to join their Transportation team in San Antonio, TX for Summer 2027. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in large-scale infrastructure projects while applying academic knowledge to real-world transportation engineering challenges. The intern will work alongside experienced engineers and project managers, assisting in various aspects of highway and roadway design. This position focuses on innovative solutions to clients' challenges locally and worldwide.

• In pursuit of a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
• Interest in Transportation Engineering
• Interest in roadway geometry
• Interest in 3D design software
• Must be at least a rising Junior
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs

• Assist in basic highway and roadway geometric design calculations
• Help prepare technical reports and design documentation
• Utilize CADD to prepare various engineering drawings, layouts, and models
• Familiarize with local, state, and federal design standards and requirements
