Jacobs is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern (Roadway) to join their Transportation team in Houston, TX for the Summer of 2027. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in large-scale infrastructure projects while applying academic knowledge to real-world transportation engineering challenges. The intern will work alongside experienced engineers and project managers, focusing on various aspects of highway and roadway design. The position emphasizes innovative solutions to clients' challenges in the transportation sector.

• In pursuit of a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
• Interest in Transportation Engineering.
• Interest in roadway geometry.
• Interest in 3D design software.
• Must be at least a rising Junior.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.

• Assist in basic highway and roadway geometric design calculations.
• Help prepare technical reports and design documentation.
• Utilize CADD to prepare various engineering drawings, layouts, and models to communicate project details.
