NVIDIA is seeking a Solutions Architect - OEM to join their custom development solutions team in Round Rock, TX. This role focuses on reviewing new solution feasibility and coordinating qualification and certification processes while collaborating closely with OEM partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in server architecture and the ability to manage multiple technical cases simultaneously. Requirements
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline—or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of relevant experience as a Solutions Architect, Systems Engineer, or in a comparable technical role.
- Practical experience in detecting issues within complex server or computing environments across the entire system.
- Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements and technical cases simultaneously while maintaining clear priorities and strong follow-through.
- Solid grasp of server architecture, encompassing CPUs, GPUs, memory, storage, power delivery, cooling, and high-speed interconnects.
- Ability to interpret schematics, block diagrams, diagnostic logs, test results, and measurement data.
- Excellent project-management and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into clear recommendations and collaborate effectively with both business and engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with marketing and the custom design solutions team to review new solutions and manage qualification and certification submissions.
- Develop a strong, positive relationship with the OEM, align on expectations, address issues promptly, and guarantee projects are completed flawlessly.
- Analyze detailed server or computing platforms at a full system level to supply top-tier solutions.
- Handle several technical cases and client priorities simultaneously, ensuring every requirement is addressed with outstanding quality and attention to detail.
- Examine schematics, block diagrams, diagnostic data, manufacturing test results, and thermal or electrical measurements to identify root causes and offer practical solutions.
- Drive progress in server architecture by improving CPUs, GPUs, memory, storage, power delivery, cooling, and high-speed interconnects.
- Operate from the Round Rock area and travel as required to support project goals.
