This team is part of the Hardware Technology organization and emphasizes engineering thoroughness while supporting the creation of novel intellectual property. The role involves designing and developing optical calibration and metrology systems for testing optical modules during the New Product Introduction phase. Candidates should be passionate about technology and thrive in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Optics, Physics, Opto-mechanics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of proven experience in the development and/or high-volume deployment of electro-optical modules.
• Experience in optical instrumentation, data collection, and automation using MATLAB, Python, C/C++, C#, LabVIEW, or equivalent.
• Ph.D. or Master's degree in a related field with some industry experience.
• Proven track record developing display or optical metrology systems.
• Strong quantitative data and image analysis skills utilizing JMP, MATLAB, or similar tools.
• Experience in high-volume electronics manufacturing, including Six Sigma, P/T ratio, DoE, failure analysis, and system trade-offs.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills with a drive to navigate ambiguous technical challenges.
• Domain expertise in in-line metrology and test development, wavefront measurement/Zernike analysis, PSF/MTF modeling, or color science.
• Ability to travel internationally up to 10%.
