Job description
The role is for an expert Neo4j Graph Database Engineer within Apple's Supply Chain Innovation team. This position focuses on designing, developing, and optimizing graph-based data models and applications to enhance analytics and insights. The engineer will collaborate with various internal stakeholders to implement solutions that improve Apple's internal business processes. A strong background in Neo4j and graph modeling is essential for success in this role.
Requirements
- 5+ years in data engineering, backend development, or database design.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Neo4j for graph modeling, Cypher queries, and performance tuning.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Deep understanding of graph theory concepts including nodes, relationships, and traversals.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop graph-based data models and applications.
- Optimize performance and data integration for enterprise-scale systems.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define and implement software solutions.
- Develop ETL pipelines and manage SQL/NoSQL databases.
