The Wireless Connectivity team at Apple is seeking a Wireless PHY Design Verification Engineer to develop advanced WiFi SoCs that are integral to Apple's product ecosystem. This role involves ensuring the success of silicon through sophisticated testbenches and comprehensive verification methodologies. The engineer will focus on verifying WiFi PHY digital systems and architecting verification strategies for high-rate, low-power wireless features. • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience.
• Track record of several tapeout cycles of sophisticated designs.
• Experience verifying wireless, DSP, or digital communication systems.
• Knowledge of ASIC verification flows with SystemVerilog / UVM.
• Experience developing verification environments and debugging simulations.
• Knowledge of IEEE 802.11 wireless protocols, Bluetooth, Cellular, or similar communication systems.

• Verify sophisticated WiFi PHY digital systems spanning time/frequency-domain processing.
• Architect verification strategies for multi-link wireless features.
• Own subsystem verification from test planning through coverage closure.
• Build environments and constrained random scenarios for testing.
• Apply analytics methodologies to deliver exceptional wireless silicon.
