Job description

The Manufacturing Engineering Co-op role at Rivian offers students the opportunity to work with a world-class team focused on high-quality and rapid project deployment. Interns will engage in cross-functional partnerships and support production engineers to ensure successful ramp and long-term production. This position is designed for undergraduate or graduate students pursuing degrees in relevant engineering fields. Candidates will be expected to navigate a fast-paced environment while advocating for best practices.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar.
  • Understanding of manufacturing concepts such as cycle time analysis, quality control, and equipment efficiency.
  • Experience working in both 2D and 3D CAD environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and execute on tasks as requested by the team.
  • Applied knowledge and understanding of engineering first principles.
  • An interest in innovating the automotive and technology industry.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
