Job description
As a Customer Engineer at Google, you will partner with technical sales teams to enhance Google Cloud offerings for higher education institutions. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience with cloud-native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
- Experience engaging with and presenting to technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure engineering, on-premise environments, virtualization, or containerization platforms.
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time to university campuses and related events.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Sales team to uncover and qualify Google Cloud and AI-first opportunities.
- Lead the technical relationship with premier Higher Education customers in California.
- Demonstrate and rapidly prototype intelligent integrations within customer environments.
- Design and recommend AI-optimized enterprise architectures and integration strategies.
