Job description

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their engineering team in Northern California. This role is essential for the successful delivery of a high-profile civil engineering program and for strengthening partnerships with federal clients. The Senior Project Manager will lead project teams in planning and designing various civil and infrastructure projects, focusing on risk reduction and cost effectiveness. The position requires balancing multiple objectives and constraints in complex environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Geotechnical, Coastal Engineering, or a related field
  • 10 years of experience in infrastructure design and implementation
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License in California

Responsibilities

  • Function as a project manager on select federal, state, and municipal contracts
  • Ensure technical leadership and quality control for multidisciplinary delivery teams throughout all project phases
  • Act as the primary interface between client staff and the consultant team
  • Establish and meet project schedules, budgets, and quality objectives
  • Manage existing and expanding client relationships by delivering quality work and maintaining active communication
  • Mentor junior-level technical staff
