The Security Assurance Program Manager will lead the end-to-end security assurance efforts for the Microsoft Windows Security team, focusing on security compliance, risk assessment, and supporting vulnerability research. This role is pivotal in ensuring security requirements are met across the Windows ecosystem, influencing platform security architecture and collaborating with various teams. The position emphasizes a risk-based approach to security assurance while fostering a culture of inclusion and collaboration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cyber security and experience in software development lifecycle.

• Master's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Risk Management, Cyber Security, or related field AND 4+ years experience in software development lifecycle, large scale computing, threat modeling, cyber security, or anomaly detection.
• OR Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Risk Management, Cyber Security, or related field AND 6+ years experience in software development lifecycle, large scale computing, threat modeling, cyber security, or anomaly detection.

• Partner with engineering and product teams to ensure security requirements are met at scale.
• Translate requirements into actionable product requirements and security controls.
• Execute and evolve the security assurance process for Windows teams.
• Lead cross-team security initiatives and coordination focused on deep security engagements.
• Collaborate across teams to align priorities, deliverables, and milestones.
• Influence without authority by building strong partnerships across security engineering and partner teams.
• Navigate ambiguity and create clarity for the broader organization.
• Deliver end-to-end execution on high-impact security efforts.
