Qualcomm's Location Technology Team is seeking a motivated GNSS Positioning Engine Software Engineer to develop advanced GNSS and positioning technologies for various wireless platforms. The role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing software that transforms GNSS measurements into high-accuracy Position, Velocity, and Time solutions. Engineers will collaborate with multiple teams to commercialize state-of-the-art positioning technologies and leverage AI-assisted tools to enhance productivity and performance. • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering experience, or a Master's degree with 1+ year of experience, or a PhD in a related field.
• 2+ years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
• Strong understanding of GNSS positioning fundamentals and navigation algorithms.
• Experience with AI-assisted software development tools for coding and debugging.

• Design, develop, review, and maintain production-quality GNSS Positioning Engine software in C/C++.
• Implement and optimize GNSS positioning algorithms, including Weighted Least Squares and Kalman Filtering.
• Develop algorithms for processing GNSS measurements and corrections.
• Collaborate with GNSS systems engineers to translate algorithms into efficient embedded software.
• Analyze and improve positioning accuracy and reliability under challenging environments.
• Develop software within a real-time, multi-threaded embedded architecture.
• Contribute to software architecture, interface design, and code reviews.
