As a Senior Software Engineer at Qualcomm, you will be part of a networking and wireless engineering team focused on developing advanced networking protocols and AI/ML-based traffic optimization. Your work will involve designing and validating embedded and cloud edge software for cutting-edge products. • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering experience, or a Master's degree with 1+ year of experience, or a PhD.
• 2+ years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
• 3-5 years of experience in software feature development focused on networking and wireless technologies using C and C++.
• Understanding of Linux kernel internals and experience with low-level kernel programming.
• Solid knowledge of core networking protocols including TCP, UDP, IPv4, IPv6, ARP, and DHCP.
• Familiarity with WiFi/wireless LAN protocols and Ethernet device drivers is highly desirable.
• Experience developing and integrating AI/ML models for networking applications is a strong plus.
