This role is part of the Engineering Operations team at Microsoft, focusing on enhancing operational excellence across the Microsoft Cloud. The team aims to build scalable machine learning infrastructure to enable autonomous and secure cloud systems. Candidates will leverage their expertise in MLOps to drive improvements in quality, reliability, and security. The position emphasizes collaboration, continuous learning, and responsible AI practices.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, OR equivalent experience.
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
• Experience building software and services on Microsoft Azure or other cloud computing platforms.

• Partner across multiple product groups to apply subject-matter expertise in distributed systems design practices.
• Lead by example and mentor others to produce extensible and maintainable code used across products.
• Develop and evangelize insights, best practices, and standards to improve system, platform, and product development.
• Drive continuous improvements in architecture, code, features, and operations by leveraging technical expertise.
• Provide technical leadership in test maturity reviews, static analysis reviews, and incident responses.
