Job description
The Senior Technical Program Manager will lead the development of a quality-readiness system for third-party OEM devices within Microsoft's Windows Ecosystem and Commercial Engagement organization. This role involves managing program mechanisms, partner alignment, and integrated planning while ensuring clear communication and accountability across various teams. The focus is on translating technical evidence into informed decisions and maintaining partner trust. The position emphasizes collaboration with engineering, validation, and business stakeholders to drive readiness initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years of experience in engineering, product or technical program management, data analysis, or product development.
- 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
- Experience gathering business and technical requirements and translating them into program plans.
- Demonstrated experience using data to assess program health and influence decisions.
- Experience with hardware-software system readiness and device development.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end operating model for a portfolio of strategic OEM device readiness initiatives.
- Build and maintain integrated plans across OEM and silicon schedules and configurations.
- Establish clear roles, handoffs, decision rights, expectations, and escalation paths.
- Drive portfolio prioritization and manage competing requests by evaluating impacts and risks.
- Facilitate readiness and launch decisions using defined criteria and available evidence.
