As a Staff Machine Learning Engineer on the AI Platform & Agentic Apps team at Robinhood, you will play a crucial role in designing and building the agent platform that powers AI agents within the company. This team focuses on applying advanced technologies to solve significant financial challenges, aiming to create trustworthy and impactful AI systems. You will collaborate with various teams to define technical direction, mentor engineers, and ensure the successful deployment of agentic applications. • 10+ years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or ML-focused software engineer.
• Strong Python and distributed-systems fundamentals.
• A Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Hands-on experience building agentic systems end to end on top of frontier models.
• Deep expertise in evaluating agents and designing action-level guardrails.

• Design and build the core of Robinhood's agent harness, including orchestration and context management.
• Ship agentic applications from ambiguous problems to production agents that take real actions.
• Build trajectory-level evaluation systems to assess agent performance.
• Architect action guardrails as platform primitives for safe agent operation.
• Set the technical bar through architecture and code reviews, mentoring engineers.
