The NVIDIA DGXC Storage team is seeking a hands-on Storage Software Engineer to contribute to open-source parallel and distributed file systems. This role involves maintaining high-performance storage solutions that support large GPU clusters and AI workloads. The engineer will be responsible for writing and reviewing production code, troubleshooting complex storage issues, and validating storage architecture. This position offers an opportunity to work at the forefront of storage engineering for accelerated computing.

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Over 12 years of direct experience in storage software engineering with high-performance parallel or distributed file systems.
• Contributions to open-source projects involving distributed or parallel file systems.
• Strong proficiency in at least one systems language (C, C++, Rust, or Go) and proficiency in Python.
• Solid understanding of object storage and block storage.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Contribute to open-source file systems and engage with upstream communities.
• Write and review production code and make final technical decisions on storage deliveries.
• Triage and troubleshoot large, complex storage issues across GPU clusters.
• Validate storage architecture and run scale tests and benchmarks.
• Define and recommend configuration and operational best practices for file systems.
• Collaborate with various teams and partners on storage architecture.
