As a Partner Forward Deployed Engineer V for Generative AI at Google Cloud, you will act as a bridge between advanced AI products and their practical application within partner environments. Your role involves coding, debugging, and deploying bespoke AI solutions while addressing integration and data readiness challenges. You will collaborate closely with strategic AI partners to ensure successful transitions from prototypes to production-grade systems. This position is pivotal in driving customer success and shaping the future of AI in the cloud.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience with software development using Python or similar coding languages.
• Experience building pipelines for structured and unstructured data using vector databases and RAG-like architectures.
• Experience taking production-grade AI-driven solutions from conception to launch for customers.
• Experience leading technical discovery sessions with customers.
• Experience architecting AI systems on cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform.

• Serve as a tech lead and developer with strategic AI partners for complex AI applications.
• Build high-performance evaluation pipelines and observability frameworks for partner-developed systems.
• Identify repeatable partner patterns and friction points in Google’s AI stack and convert them into reusable modules.
• Co-build with a strategic AI partner’s engineering team to instill Google-grade development best practices.
• Help partners build their own agentic delivery capabilities to ensure long-term success.
