The Apps Support Tech Lead Analyst at Citi is a strategic professional responsible for partnering with multiple technology teams to enhance system integration and resolve complex application issues. This role requires a deep understanding of application support and the ability to influence strategic decisions within the business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology and operations, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions. The position emphasizes collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure optimal performance and security of systems.

• 6–10 years of progressive experience in Application Support, Production Support Engineering, Systems Analysis, or Enterprise IT Operations.
• Prior experience supporting high-availability, mission-critical production environments, preferably in the Financial Services or Enterprise Banking domain.
• In-depth hands-on experience navigating, administering, and troubleshooting enterprise Linux/Unix environments.
• Solid proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server architectures and enterprise tooling.
• Strong proficiency in SQL querying, data analysis, and schema comprehension.
• Proven experience troubleshooting and maintaining relational database management systems, including Oracle, Sybase, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Practical experience with scripting languages.
• Experience with incident tracking, real-time system monitoring, and ticketing/incident workflows such as RTIS, ServiceNow, or Jira.
• Proven ability to manage the day-to-day operational support desk and oversee shift handovers.
• Demonstrated track record of coaching, advising, and upskilling junior and mid-level support analysts.

• Partner with multiple technology teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals.
• Identify and define necessary system enhancements and analyze existing system logic to recommend solutions.
• Formulate and define systems scope and objectives for complex application enhancements through in-depth analysis.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Systems Analysts to document systems impacts and support requirements.
• Identify risks, vulnerabilities, and security issues, communicate impacts, and propose risk mitigation options.
• Act as an advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts and allocate work accordingly.
• Provide in-depth analysis to define problems and develop innovative solutions.
• Influence strategic functional decisions through advice and counsel.
• Perform other duties and functions as assigned.
• Assess risk when making business decisions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
