Apple's Platform Architecture group is looking for a Machine Learning engineer to develop and support innovative technologies for system prototypes that enhance cloud, data center, and silicon development. This role involves collaboration with leading silicon engineering teams to create next-generation chips that impact millions of users. The ideal candidate will have a passion for crafting elegant cloud solutions and a keen eye for detail. You will play a crucial role in integrating hardware and software into a unified system.

• BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience with programming languages such as Go, Swift, or C++ and scripting languages like Python or Bash.
• Experience debugging complex systems.
• Understanding and practical experience with HTTP, DNS, RPC frameworks, databases, and operating systems.
• Good understanding of Cloud security concepts and knowledge of Authentication/Authorization frameworks and tools.
• Knowledge of container technologies such as Docker, Podman, or Apple Container.
• Experience training neural networks for custom applications.
• Exposure to Silicon workflows.
