Amazon is seeking a motivated Data Engineer to join the Advertising business within the AIGC DIGI team. This role focuses on re-envisioning data architecture for various ads businesses and delivering data solutions end-to-end. The Data Engineer will collaborate with Finance and Business leaders to design and optimize data solutions, ensuring scalability and accuracy. The position requires excellent communication skills to work with diverse stakeholders and support the growing demand for data in a dynamic environment.

• 3+ years of data engineering experience
• 1+ years of experience with ETL/ELT processes
• 1+ years of experience with OLAP technologies
• 1+ years of experience with data modeling
• 1+ years of experience with SQL
• 1+ years of experience with Oracle
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field
• Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions
• Experience with non-relational databases or data stores

• Understand unique business needs and design analytical data infrastructure for multiple ads businesses
• Influence upstream and partner data teams to ensure reliable data solutions
• Manage AWS resources including EC2, EMR, S3, Glue, and Redshift
• Interface with technology teams to extract, transform, and load data from various sources
• Explore and adopt the latest AWS technologies to enhance capabilities and efficiency
• Collaborate with Business Intelligence Engineers to adopt best practices in reporting and analysis
• Work with stakeholders to define requirements and build scalable data solutions
• Support ongoing reporting and analysis processes, automating or simplifying self-service support for customers
