The SDE II role within the Marketing Measurement and Performance Science (MAPS) team focuses on designing and building systems that harmonize data from over 20 external partners to support Amazon's marketing investments. This position involves creating measurement-grade data systems that ensure data integrity and support causal modeling. The team is responsible for maintaining high standards of data quality and enabling leadership to make informed decisions on marketing spend. Collaboration with various teams is essential to translate measurement requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of experience in design or architecture of new and existing systems
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C#
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

• Design, develop, and maintain measurement-grade data systems at scale.
• Own full lifecycle delivery of production software on complex problems.
• Build automated validation pipelines and data quality frameworks.
• Define statistical methods for outlier detection and diagnose root causes.
• Partner across science, product, and engineering teams to scope solutions.
