This role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining critical APIs and interfaces to connect Leo capabilities with US Government customers, including NASA and the DoD. The team is dedicated to developing scalable solutions for satellite and ground applications, ensuring mission-critical space safety and sustainability. Candidates will work on complex technical problems in a multi-disciplinary environment, contributing to both internal and vendor teams. The position requires a strong understanding of network operations and software development.

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• 3+ years of Software Defined Networking / network operations experience

• Utilize network topology understanding and Software Defined Networking experience to develop APIs and interface software.
• Demonstrate the capabilities of the interfaces and architectures in a simulated test environment.
• Solve complex technical problems related to the use of the Leo constellation for government customers.
• Contribute to internal and vendor teams to develop and deliver on software and interface requirements.
• Ensure systems meet Leo and US Government performance needs including availability, reliability, and security.
• Effectively communicate project health, risks, and issues to stakeholders and management teams.
• Escalate urgent issues appropriately and drive them to closure in a timely manner.
• Provide visualizations, document results, and communicate them across multi-disciplinary project teams.
