The Sr. Software Development Engineer at Annapurna Labs will focus on architecting, building, and operating high-performance storage infrastructure to support silicon development. This role involves managing various storage platforms, including Amazon FSx for NetApp ONTAP and FSx for Lustre, to enhance chip design efficiency. • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
• 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
• 5+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle, including coding standards and operations
• Experience as a mentor or tech lead in an engineering team
• 5+ years of relevant hands-on systems engineering experience in networking and storage systems
• Knowledge of network and storage protocols such as iSCSI, NFS, and SMB
• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with NAS/NFS storage systems like NetApp ONTAP
• 3+ years of experience with AWS cloud services, including storage services like FSx and S3
• Experience with Amazon FSx for Lustre and EFA-enabled configurations for HPC workloads
• Experience building self-service storage platforms with automated provisioning and cost attribution
• Experience with AWS CDK, including building custom constructs
• Experience with cross-VPC and multi-account storage architectures
• Experience with storage observability tools like CloudWatch metrics

• Design, deploy, and operate high-performance storage platforms optimized for EDA and HPC workloads.
• Manage NFS exports, ONTAP SVMs, and implement snapshot policies and quota enforcement.
• Deploy storage infrastructure using AWS CDK and architect cross-VPC solutions.
• Build a Storage as a Service platform with self-service provisioning and automated lifecycle management.
• Establish monitoring and observability for storage health and utilization.
• Evaluate and adopt new AWS storage features to enhance platform capabilities.
• Profile I/O patterns and tune file system configurations for optimal performance.
